OUTSTANDING PAIR OF CARVED WOOD BLACK FOREST TYPE LAMPS WITH FEATHER SHADES. Matched pair of carvings shows bird on top with vines and grapes with leaves. Oval walnut bases mounted with modern single socket brass fixture. Originally used with glass epergne inserts. Oval bases have been added. Lamp shade is covered with bird feathers in concentric circle design. A fine set. SIZE: Carving is 16” h x 8” w. Shades are 11” h x 17” w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96818 (1,500-2,500)
