CHILD’S DRAGON ROBE. Late 19th/early 20th century, China. This nicely embroidered example with fiery gold dragons on a mustard yellow ground amongst cloud bands, the collar embroidered with gold dragons, the hem embroidered with ocean waves above a li shui border. SIZE: 20″ l x 33″ w. CONDITION: Substantial running to red flames, minor pulling of thread, light staining at hems, otherwise very good. 9-91622 (800-1,000)
