THREE FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCKS. 1) Brass, bronze and beveled glass French carriage clock with Corinthian columns on four corners with architectural detail highlighted by gilt brass and bronze contrast, beveled glass on four sides and top, having swing handle, with enamel dial centered with cast brass rosette and delicate lacy gilt brass hands, having 8-day time, strike and repeating movement. 2) French gilt brass and beveled glass carriage clock with beveled glass on four sides with oval beveled window on the top, folded carrying handle, having porcelain ring dial with Arabic Numerals, with similar subsidiary alarm dial, having time, strike, alarm and hour repeating movement. 3) Gilt brass and beveled glass French carriage clock with brass front and inset porcelain dial with Arabic Numerals marked “J.E. Caldwell & Co.” (retailer), and having similar lower alarm set dial. On back plate, marked “Couaillet Fils France 11 Jewels” and also marked “Caldwell”. Retains original leather travel case with silk ribbon marked “Caldwell Philadelphia”. With time, strike, alarm and hour repeating movement. SIZE: 1) 7-7/8″h; 2) 7″h; 3) 7-1/2″h.
