*COLT BANKERS’ SPECIAL DA REVOLVER. CAL. 38 Colt. Blued finish, 2″ bbl marked on the left side “BANKERS’ SPECIAL” with checkered silver medallion grips. The back strap is inscribed “R.M.S. P.O. DEPT.” The bottom of the butt is inscribed “No. 9835”. Currently there is no information regarding these markings. SN 344206 CONDITION: Good to very good. Retains about all of an old reblue with some scattered light pitting. The grips are much worn, but sound. Bright shiny bore. 4-44571 JL81 (200-400)
