Buy & Sell with James D. Julia, Inc.

How can we help you?

Buy & Sell

Julia’s is one of the top ten antique auctioneers in North America. One of the reasons for this success is focusing on the needs of both our buyers and sellers. Our auction process is designed to meet the needs of each party in the transaction.

Buyers:

Buying at auction.

We work extremely hard to provide the best catalog in the antique auction business. Our catalog is filled with vibrant images of every item in the auction. Certain items have multiple pictures that display the unique attributes that make those items so valuable. Each item is accompanied by a description prepared by one of our staff, or a leading expert in that particular item. We stand behind every item with a 45 day limited guarantee (see our Conditions of Sale).

Every item is also featured on our web site in high definition photography. Our ZOOM feature, and 360° view on selected items are designed to make it “as close to touching it” as we can.

Buying is easy as well. There are four ways to participate in any of our auctions (these are explained in more detail here):

  1. Come to beautiful Central Maine, and attend our auctions in person
  2. Register to participate as a telephone bidder
  3. Register to participate as an Absentee bidder
  4. Bid online using your favorite internet bidding platform:
