March 27, 2017 – Fairfield, ME – James D. Julia today announced that Jeremy Hatch has joined the company as a Firearms Sales Representative. In this role, Jeremy will be responsible for working with our firearms clients to assist them in the consignment process and to guide them through the auction process. Julia’s firearms division is the largest auctioneer of rare and collectible firearms in the world.

A graduate of the University of Maine system, Jeremy brings a breadth of experience to the Julia’s firearms team. For the past eleven years, he has been a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive with Shooting Sportsman magazine. In this role, he represented Shooting Sportsman at many trade and consumer firearms shows around the country, including The SHOT Show, Safari Club International, Dallas Safari Club, Pheasant Fest, and other smaller events. He worked closely with individual clients and companies, including Holland & Holland, Caesar Guerini, and others, to help them achieve their goals. He has developed customized marketing plans for his clients utilizing various media including print, digital, and social channels. He was instrumental in the development of the first digital magazine in the wingshooting marketplace.

A lover of fine double guns and pointing dogs, Jeremy is “hands on” in the field as well. He grew up in a sporting family and to this day can be found wandering through the mountains or sitting in a duck blind with family and friends. He is a member of the NRA, Ruffed Grouse Society, American Woodcock Society, North American Versatile Hunting Dogs Association, North American Deutsch Kurzhaar Club, and the Maine Trappers Association. Jeremy is a fully licensed Master Maine Guide for almost twenty years.
