The shaped case with scrolling sides profusely decorated with etched brass and mother of pearl inlays depicting floral garlands and swags opposing dolphins. Floral urns and cornucopia. The enameled dial with roman numeral chapter ring within a gilt metal bezel above an aperture with day and date dials. The brass movement with silk thread suspension, sits on an ogee bracket base. SIZE: 16-1/4” x 10” h x 5-3/4” d. CONDITION: Case in very fine polished condition. Original calendar dial with paint loss to numerals. 9-74679 MD (1,800-2,200)
