*SMITH & WESSON 38 SAFETY HAMMERLESS 5TH MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Nickel finish, 2” bbl with 2-pc medallion pearl grips. Bbl has a pinned half moon front sight with “SMITH & WESSON” on the left side of the bbl and “38 S&W CTG” on the right side. There are no markings on the top of the rib. SN 251705. CONDITION: Fine, all matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Retains about 95% strong original nickel, slightly dulled from use. Grips are fine with some oil staining and the medallions retain most of their gold wash. Bright shiny bore, good mechanics. 4-48153 JR217 (Anderson Collection) (500-1,000)
