HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY INLAID BUTLER’S SECRETARY/LINEN PRESS. The three part piece has a removable cornice over a two door top section having five slide out open drawers. Bottom section being a four drawer chest of which the top drawer is a fold down desk drawer having seven drawers, eight cubby holes and central door. Drawer front has an oval inlay with mahogany veneer panel. All resting on French style flared feet with shaped skirt. American, Circa 1800-1810. SIZE: 84-11/2” h x CONDITION: Old finish, needs cleaning. Skirt has veneer areas missing. Brasses are replacements. Otherwise good. 9-71480 (2,000-3,000)
