THREE JACQUARD COVERLETS. Mid-19th century. The first, in blue and white ‘Summer and Winter’ Mosaics pattern, of two panels, affixed with a label inscribed in script “L.B. Yerdon”. The second, a tri-color fringed coverlet with a central floral and leaftip panel, the outer border of tulips and roses, three sides with tri-color fringe. The third, a red and white ‘Summer and Winter’ coverlet woven with a center medallion with S-scroll elements encircled by a wreath, the border a variation on Eagle, Independence Hall, Deer and Bird border. SIZE: FIRST: 7′ x 5’1″. SECOND: 7’6″ x 6′. THIRD: 7’7″ x 6’6″. CONDITION: All in overall very good condition. The tri-color with some separation of fringe edge. The red and white with staining in one corner. 9-93269 (400-600)
