*COLT SAUER DELUXE SPORTING RIFLE. Cal. 243. Fine half stock rifle with 23” tapered lightweight sporting bbl, nicely figured checkered walnut stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap. Grip cap has an inlay of a rampant Colt. Buttstock has an original Colt black waffle pad. Receiver is mounted with original Colt bases and rings containing a Leupold Vari X III 3.5-10X scope. Stock has sling swivels containing a military style sling. SN CR9843. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal retains most of its original blue and the wood about 98% strong original varnish.
