FINE CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY FITTED TEA CADDY. The 18th Century caddy having a raised, molded, hinged cover with fancy bale handle. The box having an ivory, diamond-shaped escutcheon and resting on its original carved ogee bracket base. The interior fitted with its original three-section tole-lined interior. Fourth quarter of the 18th Century. SIZE: 7” h x 10-3/4” l x 6-1/4” d. CONDITION: Back foot is nice replacement. Generally very good. 9-74326 SM (700-1,000)
