*ENGRAVED DON ALLEN CUSTOM RUGER #1 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 6MM Remington. Spectacular custom rifle with 23” tapered round bbl, ramp front sight with hood, safari sling base, and custom quarter rib with Warne rings mounting a Leupold M8 7.5X scope. The receiver is finished in French gray with a wonderfully detailed raised gold running antelope on the left side and a raised gold big horn ram on the right side. Both sides have gold wire borders and the details are surrounded by very fine arabesque pattern engraving which extends over the top and bottom of the receiver, lever and top tang. Wood is exhibition grade marble cake circassian walnut with semi-beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with European style shadow cheek-piece 13-1/4” over an engraved smooth steel French gray buttplate. The bottom right edge of the receiver is marked “ENG BY M.BUTLER”. The top of the bbl is engraved “DON ALLEN.STRUGIS SOUTH DAKOTA”. SN 123-18457.
