*SPECTACULAR HAGN FALLING BLOCK SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Incredibly beautiful rife with 26” tapered oct bbl, full rib integral front ramp with caterpillar sight. It has a folding, gold line, 1-leaf express sight and claw mount bases. The rib is also marked “M. HAGN.KOCHEL A/SEE” and over the chamber with the caliber and serial number and production date of “4/82”. The receiver has original bright metal with receiver and lever engraved with about 60% coverage very fine arabesque patterns. The top of the receiver has a small oval marked “SYSTEM/HAGN” with the serial number in the middle. Wood is spectacular burled, honey and chocolate Circassian walnut. The forearm is rounded and 12” long, very nicely checkered with Fleur-de-Lis on each side. Stock has a capped pistol grip and is 15” over a checkered butt. The top tang has a rolling type thumb safety. It is accompanied by a Zeiss Diatal 6X scope and a Huey oak and leather case containing a brass oil bottle, 3-pc brass wiping rod and a 2-pc horn turn screw set, with a compartment for the scope. It is French fitted and lined with green suede. SN 74. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, as new, appears unfired, retaining virtually all its original finish to both metal and wood.
