*WINCHESTER PRE-64 MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Standard grade rifle with 24” tapered round bbl, ramp front sight with hood, folding middle sight, 1-pc checkered wood stock with checkered aluminum buttplate. Receiver is mounted with Buehler bases and rings containing an early Weaver straight tube scope, probably 2-1/2 power. SN 130819. CONDITION: Good to very good. Metal retains most of an old restored finish with the striker shroud purple. Wood is sound and retains most of its original finish with usual handling and use marks. There is a series of small scratches and a bruise on the bottom of the forearm probably from a sling. Bright shiny bore. 4-48778 JR589 (500-750)
