NICE LOUIS XVI WALNUT POUDREUSE. Last quarter 18th century. The rectangular case with three hinged lids, all crossbanded and with figured walnut panels, the center lid with adjustable mirror, the outer lids opening to wells, one fitted with removable tray for perfume and powder bottles and jars. The cabinet designed with three tiers of three drawers: the upper tier of three faux drawers, the second tier with central drawer flanked by faux drawers, the third tier of three aligned drawers. Raised on delicate square tapered stop-fluted legs, the stop-fluting carved with leaftips. SIZE: 30-3/4″ h. x 32″ w. x 17-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Top compartments are currently locked; accompanying key no longer functions. Otherwise retains old surfaces in need of cleaning. Hardware original. 9-95617 (800-1,500)
