*SMITH & WESSON 38 HAND EJECTOR M&P 1ST MODEL ARMY CONTRACT REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Mil (38 Colt.) Blued finish, 6” bbl, integral front sight, round butt with diamond checkered walnut grips, no medallions and a lanyard loop in the butt. Stock circles are stamped “JTT/1901” on the left side and “KSM” on the right side. Left rear of the frame, cylinder and bbl also have the “KSM” inspector marks with tiny “P” proof on the bbl. Butt has the correct Army contract markings. SN 13275. CONDITION: Fine, all matching including the grips. Frame retains about 95% bright glossy blue, gray on the trigger guard. Bbl retains about 10% strong blue in the sheltered area with the balance light patina. Cylinder and sideplate are mostly light patina. Grips are fine showing moderate to heavy wear.
