WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE IMPERIAL BOWL. Extremely beautiful Willow pattern Fairyland Lustre Imperial bowl is decorated on the outside with solid brown houses, elves, boats, and birds with gold outlines and heavy coral highlights. The rim is decorated with a Fairyland border with green leaves, violet flowers, and red and yellow lanterns. The large tree trunks are done in violet with gold detail, all set against a blue Lustre background. The inside of the bowl has an orange Lustre background with crimson stippling. The inside rim is decorated with a Fairyland border. The bottom of the bowl is a large medallion of matching Willow pattern against a blue background. Signed on the bottom with gold Portland vase mark “Wedgwood Made in England Z5407”. SIZE: 10″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66798 (2,000-2,500)
