WHITNEY KENNEDY LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 (38-40). Small frame or light rifle, standard grade with 24” oct bbl. German silver, Rocky Mountain front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate with trap. SN 970. CONDITION: Good. No original finish remains the metal being a silver gray color with mottled brown patina. Stock has a large chunk missing from the toe and a couple of cracks in the wrist with another in the forearm, which is also missing a 4-1/2” sliver at the rear and a 2” sliver at the front.
