NANETTE LEDERER CALDER (American, 1866-1960) “NUDE”. Oil on canvas interior scene shows a nude woman seated in ladderback chair next to mantle with mirror, vase and picture of flowers. Signed lower right “Nanette Calder”. Housed in its original gilt molded wood frame. Label on frame From the Lawrence Rill Schumann Art Foundation, Boston. Also a card with title and artist “Loaned by Marie Sterner Gallery for the Red Cross Exhibition”. Calder was the wife of Alexander Sterling Calder. SIZE: 18” x 15”.
