*WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 30 US (30-40). Standard carbine, 22” tapered round bbl, pedestal front sight with replaced blade and semi buckhorn rear sight. Left side of the receiver is mounted with a Lyman 21 Long receiver sight. The forearm is standard carbine configuration with grasping grooves and a barrel band. The buttstock is a replacement of nicely figured walnut, skip-lined checkered at the wrist 14-1/4” over a Winchester checkered steel buttplate. Fitted with sling eyes. SN 73382. CONDITION: As noted, very good, retains about 90-92% original factory blue, with good original finish on the forearm and custom finish on the butt.
