*WINCHESTER MODEL 1904 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22. NSN. Standard rifle in a very rare box. It has a 21” rnd bbl with integral receiver, Jack front sight and a Model 40 rear sight. It is mounted in a beautifully figured gum wood stock, schnable forearm and serpentine metal trigger guard/grip. It has a perch belly butt with crescent rifle buttplate. It is accompanied by an original very rare kraft colored 2-pc box that contains all of the original wooden dividers, a cleaning instruction card, an original wire wiping rod and an original Winchester target. The end label has black printing with a red stamp “Model 1904” on both ends. One end has a large red “W” otherwise the box is unmarked. CONDITION: Rifle is as new and probably unfired. Retains virtually all of its bright original factory finish to both metal and wood. Bbl has one tiny spot of minor muzzle edge wear and the stock has a very few scattered, very light, storage nicks. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. Box lid has worn edges, and breaks at the corners and has been repaired, otherwise is lightly soiled with the end label moderately faded. 4-52940 JR653 (1,000-1,500)
