SET OF FOUR DECORATED SHERATON FANCY CHAIRS. Probably Philadelphia, first quarter of the 19th C. Chairs with original paint and stencil decoration having rush seats, gold painted and carved horizontal slats. Curved crest rail and nicely turned frontal legs with flat turned front stretcher. PROVENANCE: Estate of Donelson Hoopes. SIZE: 33-1/2” h x 18” seat h x 17” across seat rail. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Some paint loss. 9-70740 (1,000-1,400)
