LARGE COLORED BRONZE “KID RUSSELL AND MONTE” BY BUCKEYE BLAKE. Sculpture depicts Charles M. Russell standing next to his horse Monte. Signed “Buckeye Blake, 86”. Limited edition 17/26. Blake was commissioned to sculpt a life-size bronze, which this was patterned after, and is in front of the First Bank, Great Falls, Montana in November 1986. Bronze has coloring to various parts, which make this a truly beautiful piece. Mounted on a round wood base. Cast by Kalispell Art Casting, Kalispell, Mont. Bronze comes with certificate.
