FINE CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY SLANT LID DESK. Slanted hinged writing surface having a fine fitted double stepped block and fan carved interior having eight drawers and eight pigeon holes. Four graduated drawers, each fitted with fine brass bale handled brasses. The applied bracket base with nice carved features including a central drop fan. Circa 1765-1785.
