The rectangular hinged molded lid above the conforming case with shaped boot-jack ends, all in blue paint with black outlines, the top with an oval central painting depicting a whale hunt. The front with central panel depicting two whaling ships under full sail, both within painted rope-twist borders. SIZE: 25″ h x 48″ l x 18″ d. CONDITION: Retains original dry painted surfaces with moderate paint loss to lid, case with paint losses on all sides. Lose to right rear lid facing measuring 8” x 1”, termite damage to base. 9-72982 (500-1,000)
