*PRE-WAR WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 38-55. Standard carbine with 20” bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock and smooth carbine buttplate. SN 870853. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 96-98% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains about 60% original blue, gray on the bottom, thin on the top and flaked on the front sides. Wood is sound and retains about 95% original finish with a couple of gouges and bruises on the right wrist and a gouge on the forearm. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-48805 JR611 (2,500-3,500)
