*SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER 1894 SEMI-DELUXE SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 25-35. Rare carbine with 20” bbl, button magazine, uncheckered wood with capped pistol grip stock and hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Bbl has square base carbine front sight, ladder carbine rear sight and a stud and ring on the left side of receiver. Wood is very nicely figured. SN 1130933. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains 96-97% strong bright finish overall with only minor muzzle wear and edge wear. Receiver has a couple of small scratches and a flaked spot or two on the sides with some slight thinning on bottom of receiver and the moveable floorplate turning plum. Lever retains about 65% thin blue and the hammer about 90%. Wood is sound and retains most of its original bright piano varnish with some light scratches and minor dings on the stock. Forearm retains about 80% bright varnish with the balance worn. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-48804 JR612 (3,000-5,000)
