MAINE SHERATON ONE DRAWER STAND. Circa 1840. Made of birch and maple, the rectangular single board top with molded edges above the conforming frieze fitted with a single drawer, raised on cylindrical reeded and molded legs. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h x 21-1/2″ w x 16-1/2″ s. PROVENANCE: The underside of the drawer bottom with a pencil inscription reading “Mrs. G. A. Porter, N. Anson, ME”. CONDITION: Retains old surfaces, dark reddish/brown color. Very good overall. 9-95251 (500-750)
