*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38WCF (38-40). Standard grade rifle with 24” round bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. Bbl has silver bead front sight and flat top late rear sight with patented elevator. SN 883382. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 97-98% strong bright original blue. Receiver 92-93% original blue with the balance flaked to light patina. Wood is sound and retains virtually all its bright factory finish. Forearm is light colored walnut while the buttstock is darker. Right side of buttstock has several small bruises with a scratch on the left side. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-48813 JR620 (2,750-3,500)
