EARLY BEIGE STEIFF TEDDY. Pre-WWI teddy with shoe button eyes, lacking metal button in left ear. Black stitched nose, mouth and claws. With original paw pads. He swivels at the head, shoulders and hips and has a front squeaker in the torso which is inoperable at the present time. SIZE: 12″ (31cm). CONDITION: Good considering age but with tear on bridge of nose, mohair sparseness to back of head and top of left arm in particular. Nose and mouth possibly restitched. 1-7714 (1,000-2,000)
