RARE EARLY MINIATURE PINE SHOE FOOT BLANKET CHEST. Dovetailed box having a molded edge cotter pin hinged lid fitted with an early lock. Box set on a molded edge base with carved shoe feet. Probably 17th Century and retaining remnants of an early light blue paint and some rose head nail construction. Possibly of New England origin. SIZE: 8-3/4” h x 12-1/2” at widest x 8-1/2” at deepest.
