WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 40-82. Standard grade rifle with 26” oct bbl. Full magazine uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. Front sight is a German silver Rocky Mountain blade and the rear sight is broken. SN 37064. CONDITION: Good. Retains a medium to dark brown patina overall with some light rust intermixed. Loading gate is pitted. Wood is sound and retains some of an old refinish. Worn bright bore with light pitting. Good mechanics. 4-48426 JR565 (1,000-1,500)
