NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL MAPLE DROP-LEAF TABLE. First quarter 19th century. The rectangular top with conforming hinged leaves projecting above the conforming apron, raised on four square tapered legs, two hinged. SIZE: 28-3/4″ h. TOP: 48″ x 18″ closed, 48″ x 46-1/2″ open. PROVENANCE: From an East Sangerville, Maine private collection. Acquired from Robert Hall, Dover-Foxcroft, Maine in the 1950/60’s by the present owner’s parents. CONDITION: Professionally refinished with honey brown patina. Very good overall. 9-94931 (700-900)
