SMALL SWING TOY. Attributed to The Gong Bell Co. A particularly delicate casting including a formed tin bassinet and a gilt bird at the lead of this toy swing. Although unable to locate in a Gong Bell catalog, this toy demonstrates all the characteristics of a toy Gong Bell would have produced. Purchased from the famed Perelman Antique Toy Museum of Philadelphia, PA. SIZE: 8”. CONDITION: Very fine—near mint, paint loss primarily on wire supports and tin bassinet. Retains fair amount of flashing to iron wheels. JL 1-4104 (1,500-2,000)
