SPECTACULAR LARGE SWING BELL TOY. Attributed to Ives, Blakeslee, & Williams Co. This dramatic and huge bell toy was one of Bob’s favorites! The sensational castings speak for themselves. In remarkable condition, void of damage, this toy can stand alone in any collection. The frame is enameled in dark blue with an abundance of gilt highlighting to the embossed trim on the castings & the swing is enameled in red paint. This toy was originally from the collection of the infamous bank and toy collector F. W. Griffith. SIZE: 9 1/2” length, 9” tall. CONDITION: Very fine—near mint. JL 1-4066 (7,000-9,000)
