FINE HERIZ ORIENTAL CARPET, NORTHWEST PERSIA. 1st quarter 20th century. The oversized geometric lobed medallion in shades of indigo and madder red on a madder red field, with dense geometric polychrome vinery within stepped turquoise and jade green spandrels, the midnight blue main border with ivory and salmon stylized flowerheads amidst geometric latticework. SIZE: 13’3″ x 9’10”. CONDITION: Overall very good with nearly full pile and soft color palette. End fringes mostly intact, one selvage with 4″ damage, opposing corners with wear, otherwise good. 9-95109 (2,000-3,000)
