21-1/2″, (55 CM), KESTNER LADY DOLL. Head incised “Made in Germany H.12. 162”. She has an open mouth with four upper teeth, blue glass eyes that have been set in a stationary position, and is on a fully-jointed lady style body with life-like modeling, narrow waist, and straight wrists. The body is stamped in red “Germany 4”, and is in fine original condition with original finish. She is appropriately dressed in a two-piece beige wool gown typical of that of a 1910 era, antique under garments and brown leather boots, and has her original blonde mohair wig upswept in the back into a bun with tiny curls surrounding the face and neck. CONDITION: Plaster pate has been re-glued to head, but not removed.
