BURGUN & SCHVERER VASE. Beautiful internally decorated wheel-carved and gilded white flower decoration with green leaves on a purple background with wheel-carved martelé accents. Gilded rim and bronze patinated foot. Although this piece is unsigned, it is undoubtedly the work of Burgun & Schverer. It is possible that the bronze base was added at a later date and is equally possible that it was original in the making. Nonetheless it is truly a beautiful vase. SIZE: 13” t. CONDITION: Some wear to gilding on rim, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63511 (2,500-4,500)
