MID ATLANTIC FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY DRESSING MIRROR. Circa 1820. Rectangular mirror plate suspended on two canted supports joined to the rectangular box with string inlay and cross banding. Case fitted with three aligned drawers with carved ivory pulls on a molded plinth raised on shaped bracket feet. SIZE: 27-1/4″ h x 24-1/4″ w x 12″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good with old polished surfaces, slight cracking and shrinkage cracks to the mirror frame which is veneered and crossbanded. Mirror glass, backboard,and feet appear original. Ivory knobs may be original also. Brass handles to attach mirror to frame appear original. 9-91505 (300-500)
