LOT OF TWO EARLY 20TH C. VETERANS SWORDS. 1) Sons of Veterans sword. Typical “SV” in 1860’s style languet. Etched blade. Agent marked “WILLIAM REED & SONS, BOSTON, MASS”. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. 2) Cruciform guard sword with large “V” and “HNG”. Organization unknown to me. Blade marked, “GAYLORD MANUFACTURING COMPANY”. Brass mounted iron scabbard.
