BURGUN & SCHVERER VASE. Highly unusual flat vase with wheel-carved decoration of a gaffer blowing glass. Butterscotch color with an internal green streak. Acid etched stylized decoration on reverse with another internal green streak. Applied foot with intermediate clear tangerine band. Sandblasted signature on the underside “Verrerie d’Art de Lorraine B.S. & Cie déposé”. SIZE: 9-3/4” t. CONDITION: Three flat grinds underneath foot, original to mfg, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63151 (10,500-11,500)
