CLASSICAL MAHOGANY DROP LEAF WORK TABLE. Second quarter of the 19th Century. The figured rectangular top with hinged leaves and incurved corners above the conforming frieze fitted with a single long drawer above a rigid bag drawer within a conforming support frame of figured mahogany. Joined to a square flaring pedestal with stepped plinth on a platform base, raised on outscrolled feet fitted with casters. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h x 18″ d c 19-3/4″ (closed). CONDITION: Very good overall with nice color and patina. Original escutcheon absent. 9-95272 (1,000-1,500)
