*SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Special. Parkerized finish, smooth walnut grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. Left side of the frame is marked “N.Y.M.I.-635” (no indication of the meaning of this marking). Records indicate this revolver was shipped 9/30/1942 as a 4” to the U.S. Navy in Oakland, CA. SN V108271. CONDITION: Very fine, retains most all of its parkerized finish including the new bbl and ejector rod. Hammer and trigger retain most of their original case colors. Grips are fine with numerous small nicks and dings. Bright shiny bore, crisp mechanics. 4-48210 JR 264 (Anderson Collection) (400-700)
