FINE TWO PIECE QUEEN ANNE SUNBURST CARVED CHERRY HIGHBOY. Top section having a cornice molded top, four small drawers flanking a square central drawer with sunburst carving over three graduated drawers. Bottom section with one long drawer over three drawers, the center drawer having a sunburst carving. All supported by four cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Skirt having two drop finials. Brasses are later replacements. Probably CT. PROVENANCE: From the Turpin-Brewer Estate, Boston, MA. SIZE: 71” h x top 34” w x 17-1/2” d. Bottom is 36-1/4” x 19”. CONDITION: Generally very good, old repair to one foot and leg. Older refinish. 9-71692 (8,000-10,000)
