OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE CARVED AND PAINTED CAROUSEL HORSE ATTRIBUTED TO FREDERICK HEYN. The outside row horse has old paint surface in white with brown saddle having blue and gold dressing. Rhinestone decorated bridle and older paint layers beneath existing old paint. Large carved tail rests on right back leg. The right flowing mane is well carved, the head is down with horizontal carved ears. Front left leg is bent up with other down. Nicely carved saddle. Stands on its own, the back legs have a wood plate attached to bottom. SIZE: 43-1/2” h x 56” l. CONDITION: Generally very good with scrapes and chips to paint. 9-27582 (5,500-7,500)
