*SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Special. Parkerized finish, 2” bbl, smooth walnut grips with lanyard loop stud hole in the butt. Right sideplate is electric pencil marked “P-7-599”. Factory records are open at this serial number and original 2” bbl can not be verified. There were only 300 original 2” revolvers made in October 1942 for the U.S. Department of Justice issued through U.S. Army Ordnance. Top strap is marked “United States Property”. SN V180463. CONDITION: Fine as noted, retains about 85% original parkerizing thin on the cylinder and grip frame with moderate to heavy pitting on the grip frame. Bbl appears original to this revolver with matching wear patterns and condition. Lanyard loop and stud are missing. Grips are sound with heavy wear on the right side.
