Exceptional Oriental fire screen has pierced and carved wooden frame holding an unbelievably delicate silk needlework depicting a group of six shrimp embroidered onto an extremely fine and thin silk background in light blue color. When first viewed the screen looks like it has been painted, but when viewed closely it reveals the extremely fine silk needlework. The panel rests in a matching pierced and carved wooden frame.
