LARGE LIFE SIZE WOOD CARVING OF A SPREAD WING EAGLE AND A PAIR OF TIGERS. The piece carved from one piece of wood shows a 75” spread wing eagle perched atop a wood outcropping with two tigers intertwined below. One of the tigers is on the back side looking forward under the wing, the other below the front. Both show open gaping mouths. All in a honey brown patina. 20th Century, Oriental. SIZE: Approximately 54” h x 75” w x approximately 28” d. CONDITION: Generally very good, some age cracks and some feather tips restored. 9-71003 (5,000-8,000)
