GROUP OF ENGLISH AND CONTINENTAL PEWTER TABLEWARES. 18th and 19th centuries. Comprising eleven 9-1/2″ German plates with scalloped and molded edges; one 12-1/2″ dia. serving platter with similar edging and crown mark; eight 6-3/4″ English plates, each marked “LONDON”, most with “B&P” maker’s marks. A pitcher with scrolled handle and reeded base 10-3/4″ h.; a pitcher with masque spout, 10″ h.; an open sugar bowl with griffin handles and “displayed eagle” mark, 4-1/2″ h.; small creamer with domed lid, the spout marked with a “V”, 4-1/2″ h.; a French gravy boat with undertray stamped with rose mark; a French 12″ dia. plate with raised bust of the Cardinal of Richelieu; a serving tray with fruit handles, 22″ l.; an Apostle spoon; pair of face spoons with embossed handles; a sugar shaker; and a sauce bowl, underplate and spoon.
